library „NICODOM IR Dyes and Pigments“ is an advanced collection of 1400 FTIR
(ATR) digital spectra of dyes and pigments.

The library spectra were
collected using the FTIR Spectrometer Impact 410 and Nexus 670 ™ (Thermo) and
the Miracle™ single bounce ATR accessory (Pike Technologies) equipped by Si
crystal.
This FTIR spectral library
features resolution of 4cm-1 in the spectral range 600-4000 cm-1, measurement time
1 minute, the instrument was purged by dried air.
Available formats:
searchable digital FTIR library compatible with your spectroscopic software or
digital book in *.pdf format.

The FTIR spectra in the library are sorted according to their Colour Index
(C.I.) name: C.I. Acid Dyes, Basic Dyes, Direct Dyes, Disperse Dyes, Food Dyes,
Mordant Dyes, Natural Dyes, Pigments, Reactive dyes, Solvent Dyes, Vat Dyes,
and unclassified (some of the very new dyes).
Pigment
subcategories are: Pigment Synthetic, Pigment Japanese, Pigment Mineral,
Pigment
Historic, Pigment Earth, Pigment Inorganic, Pigment Glitter, Pigment
Fluorescent.
We included dyes and pigments from following manufacturers (for
example): Atul, BASF, Bayer, Boruta, Ciba, Clariant, Farbchemie Braun, Hoechst,
ICI, Itochu, Kremer, Kyungin, Milliken, Morton, OGD, Pylam, Simpsons, Sumitomo,
Synthesia, Triade, Umton, Williams and many others.
This unique collection of FTIR spectra includes Dyes and Pigments
applied in industry: Textil, Plastics, Cosmetics, Printing, Painting, Food,
Packaging, Glass, Ceramics, Paper, Rubber, Art, Cable, Wood and other.
Samples were selected and infrared spectra
collected 2008. The infrared
spectral library „NICODOM IR Dyes and Pigments“ includes many new dyes and pigments
which came on the market during last years.
This library is available
as digital searchable library compatible with your spectroscopic software. Also
it can be delivered with SEARCH software or in *.pdf format.
