The infrared spectra library „NICODOM IR Explosives“ is an advanced and unique database of 367 digital FTIR spectra of explosives. It includes FTIR explosives spectra and related compounds spectra.

The library includes infrared spectra of primary, secondary and tertiary explosives, military and industrial formulations, important explosive components and helping substances.

Information about samples like chemical composition, look, formula, where are they used, type of explosives etc. is also included.

The samples were selected and FTIR spectra of explosives collected 2006-2007, the Nicodom IR Libraries include many new substances which came to market during the last decade.

The FTIR spectra were collected using the FTIR Spectrometer Impact 410 and Nexus 670 ™ (Thermo) and the Miracle™ single bounce ATR accessory (Pike Technologies) equipped by Si crystal.

The spectral library database features resolution of 4cm-1 in the spectral range 600-4000 cm-1, measurement time 1 minute, the instrument was purged by dried air.
