The infrared spectral
library „NICODOM IR Polymers“ is a unique spectral database of 1615 FTIR (ATR)
digital spectra of polymers and other related compounds used in polymer
industry.
Examples of compound types:
- Natural and synthetic
polymers (Cellulose derivatives, PES, PEG/PPG, Acrylates, PA, PB, PE, PP, PS,
PU, Siloxanes, Halogenated polymers, Vinyl polymers, Resins, Rubbers, Alkyds…)
- Copolymers (ABS,
Acrylates, BS, EPDM, EVA, PEPP, SAN…)
- Additives (Emulsifiers,
Stabilizers, Pigments, Oils, Plasticizers…)
- Polymeric Products
(fabrics, glues…)
- Monomers
- Other helping substances
like common solvents
The Nicodom FTIR spectra of
polymers were collected using the FTIR Spectrometer Nexus 670 ™ (Thermo) and
the Miracle™ single bounce ATR accessory (Pike Technologies) equipped by ZnSe
or Si crystal.
The Nicodom spectral
library of polymers features resolution of 4cm-1 in the spectral range 600-4000
cm-1, measurement time 1 minute, the instrument was purged by dried air.
